The other exciting part of doing therapy on horses for so
many years is the learning curve I had to go through to put the
whole picture together for each individual. Teeth, shoeing,
injuries, conformation, saddle fitting, and not to mention their
riding history!
It is just fun
putting the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle. We cannot do
without the help of veterinarians, massage therapists,
chiropractors, dentists, saddle fitters, farriers
and especially the
trainers. We all have our areas of expertise and we should all
recognize one cannot do without the other.
Sore muscles, nerves and acupressure points on fire are a report
on the skeletal system of the body and a handy way for the therapist to get
an idea of the areas to treat.
We are so spoiled these days
with the modalities, magnets, myofacsial, bionomy, massage,
supplements, stretch and exercise, along with shoeing and saddle
fitting. I am fortunate to be associated with the best dentists, vets, saddle
fitters, farriers and massage
therapists in the world. If you need any of these please call
for a number.
